This is 2IG CORP, a U.S. dealer of Tecno Diamant-branded products, the leading Italian company in the Sassuolo ceramic district that has specialized in the production of diamond tools for stoneware and natural stone for more than 30 years.

Opened in 2019 in Cookeville, Tennessee, 2IG CORP is a sales subsidiary with Tecno Diamant exclusivity that makes spare parts for ceramic companies its core business. Creating a strong partnership in tune with the internalization policy sought by Tecno Diamant, 2IG CORP recently closed a distribution contract with Maincer, another major European manufacturer of cutting and bullnose machinery. This is a strategic agreement that will further fuel the overseas business and worldwide distribution of the Formigine (MO) company’s products, which has been a key player in steady growth in recent years.

All of Tecno Diamant’s made-in-Italy innovation and craftsmanship thus flows through a network of partner companies, reaching all the way to the end customer who can sift through a multitude of products. These include diamond, resinoid, and Fickert abrasive tools created for use in the processes of cutting, squaring, lapping, beveling, and profiling surfaces of porcelain tile, natural stone, and other materials.

Just on U.S. soil, the latest market data show that the products with the greatest appeal turn out to be squaring tools, followed next by lapping tools (with a sharp increase in demand expected by 2023) and parts tools. The purchase of ceramic solutions takes place mainly in the southern United States, which is still the most flourishing scenario, given the presence of the most important American ceramic companies there.

In addition to 2IG CORP, Tecno Diamant then relied on multiple subsidiaries scattered around the world to expand its business. Open in strategic countries such as Spain, Poland, Turkey, Russia, China and Brazil, these outposts guarantee customers the production quality of the parent company, significantly facilitating service, spare parts and customer care services.
